Hello Second Grade!
Good morning! I am writing this while you are sleeping! It is 10:48 p.m. I hope you are all resting for a big day tomorrow! Mrs. Ritterbush sent me an e-mail and said you had a great first 2 days. This will be your first long day. Are you ready? If you have any questions about China that your want me to find out let me know! I will do my best to find the answers. Have fun and I will write you again tomorrow.

We were excited to have our first recess today. That seemed to be the highlight. They did do a good job of lasting the day, though. We finished the reading tests today. The olympic games were fun and we are trying hard to write about becoming an Olympic athlete. We are really enjoying the pictures. Some of us wonder why they march to work. We were also fascinated with the popsicles. Do they melt?

The first week is over. They have been working hard. I'm the one who has failed. I didn't get all of the one on one parts of the reading test finished. The awards ceremony today for them was fun.
Some of the kids are wondering what the schools are like in China.
Hope your lasts weekend in China is a good one.
